Crown Lengthening

Increace lenght of the teeth

Crown lengthening is applied in order to increase the length of the tooth either to prepare the tissues surrounding the tooth for their prosthetic restoration in cases of fracture or very deep caries or for esthetic reasons in cases of gummy smile.

In this technique, the excess soft tissue that is present or part of the soft and hard tissues surrounding the tooth is removed to create a sufficient tooth length.

The technique can be applied to one or more teeth depending on the patient's conditions and requirements to create a harmonic smile. Sutures are placed and they are removed one week after the surgery.

Post-operative instructions are given to the patient and regular evaluations are performed to ensure long-term therapeutic outcome.
